Cat is a really good friend of mine. Here we are at the Geek Prom, 1998. First we were wired, then we were tired. As fellow lab-rats, we go like that a lot. It takes a lot to understand exactly what it's like to work in a research lab. I didn't fully appreciate Cathy's stories until I'd taken a job in my own lab.

Cathy is a graduate student at MSU, now, and she has her own house. This excites me, because both of us love cooking (it's relaxing) and she has this great big kitchen, now. Plus, it's a really nice house.
